One Year with Ecologi: What We’ve Achieved So Far

Just over a year ago, we partnered with Ecologi to make sure our growth as an agency also meant progress in the right direction environmentally.

We shared an update at the six-month mark. Now, twelve months in, it feels like the right time to reflect again.

Here’s where we’re at.

• 100 trees planted.

• 10 tonnes of CO2e avoided.

• 1 full year of climate action.

They’re simple numbers. But they matter.

Every project we complete contributes towards climate work through our Ecologi profile. That means as Swype® grows, so does our impact. You can see everything transparently on our public Ecologi page. What we’ve funded, where it’s happening, and the milestones we’ve reached.

Planting 100 trees is a strong start. It supports reforestation, biodiversity and local communities. But it’s not just about trees. The 10 tonnes of CO2e avoided comes from backing verified carbon-avoidance projects. That includes initiatives that prevent emissions at source, such as renewable energy and methane capture schemes.

In short, it’s a mix of restoration and prevention. And that balance matters.

We’re under no illusion that this solves everything. It doesn’t. We still have work to do in reducing our own footprint as a business. But this partnership gives us a practical way to take action now, not at some vague point in the future.

And consistency is important to us. One year of climate action isn’t about a badge. It’s about showing up month after month and keeping the commitment in place. It becomes part of how we operate, not a side project.

As an agency, we spend our time building brands, launching websites, running campaigns and driving measurable results. But we also want to build a business that thinks longer term. That includes how we impact the world around us.

The plan is simple: keep going.
